Michael Pocock continued our series Jesus on Mission, learning from Jesus’ healing of the man with the shrivelled hand. This morning we had our meeting and worship leaders streaming direct from the Didcot Methodist Church and shared communion online together.

We were led in worship by Rob Williamson, led in prayer by Tim Stanley and enjoyed an interactive children’s message from Claire Wren. Stuart McGill also gave an update on CAPRO Nigeria.

Through the Summer we will be looking at how Jesus set out on God’s mission to bring good news to the people of his time and ours, and we’ll learn how we can join in God’s mission in our community.

Our special guest today Mike Beaumont is part of the leadership of Tees Valley Community Church (which is part of our wider Salt & Light UK family of churches, within the Taking Ground sphere). Mike is also author of many books including the Christian Basics Bible, and speaks regularly on UCB Radio. Mike continued our series on Ephesians today speaking about being United.
